The Opelika City Schools Transportation Department provides safe and reliable transportation for eligible students traveling to and from school and to approved school-related events. In addition to daily routes, the department is responsible for maintaining the district’s entire fleet of buses and vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency.

Stopfinder
Opelika City Schools uses Stopfinder to share bus route information that pertains to your student(s).
What is Stopfinder?
Stopfinder is the all-in-one parent app that allows Opelika City Schools to share your student’s bus route information. Stopfinder works with OCS’s transportation department’s software to provide the most accurate bus route information as quickly as possible.
Stopfinder is secure and only for registered users. OCS sent every parent an email with an invitation providing access to the Stopfinder app.
What the App Can Do
- View your student’s daily transportation routes – including transfer trips and stops.
- Securely share your student’s schedule with caregivers.
- Receive notifications and updates related to transportation.
- Install the App
- The Stopfinder app is available for download in the App Store and Google Play.
Access Bus Routes
Access to student bus routes is granted only to the student’s designated contacts by the Transportation Department. The Stopfinder contacts, at their discretion, may share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers). An invitation to activate your Stopfinder account was sent via email.
