OHS Celebrates 14 Student-Athletes Continuing Athletic Careers at the Collegiate Level

Opelika High School celebrated 14 student-athletes this week during its Spring Signing Day recognition, honoring members of the Class of 2026 who will continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.
Opelika student-athletes were recognized during the Spring Signing Day Ceremony on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 9 a.m. in the Opelika High School Sports Arena. Family members, coaches, teammates, school leaders, and community supporters gathered to celebrate the student-athletes and their accomplishments. Two additional student-athletes signed early on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Spring Signing Day recognizes the hard work, discipline, commitment, and achievement required for student-athletes to earn the opportunity to compete at the next level. The ceremony also celebrates the support of families, coaches, teachers, and teammates who have helped these students throughout their high school careers.
