Opelika City Schools will open kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, March 30, 2026. Registration will remain open through Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Families may complete registration online here. Please note that the registration link will not be active until March 30, 2026.

To complete registration, families should have the following documents ready:

• Birth certificate
• Certificate of immunization
• Child’s Social Security card
• Proof of residency
• Photo ID

Registration links will be available in both English and Spanish.

After completing registration, families are invited to attend the OCS Kindergarten Tour on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. Tours will take place at Carver, Jeter, and Southview Primary Schools. 

Important for current OCS Pre-K families:
If your child is currently enrolled in an Opelika City Schools Pre-K program, you should not use the new student registration link. Most of your child’s information is already in the system. Families of current OCS Pre-K students should check their email for a message from Opelika City Schools with a snapcode link to register. These students will register as returning students beginning April 6, 2026.
