Opelika City Schools Honors 2024-25 Retirees with Retirement Tea Celebration

Opelika City Schools celebrated its 2024-25 retirees during a special Retirement Tea at Fox Run School. The event honored 18 employees from across the district for their education and public service careers. Surrounded by colleagues, family, and friends, the retirees were recognized for their contributions to Opelika's students, staff, and community.
This year’s retirees represent a range of departments and schools, including child nutrition, transportation, and every level of academic support, from primary schools to Opelika High School. Their careers have helped shape generations of students in Opelika.
We thank each retiree for their years of service and commitment to children and families. Your legacy lives on in the classrooms, cafeterias, buses, and offices where you made a lasting impact.
Congratulations to the 2024-25 retirees!
